Your secure comms channel.
The Gevity app helps to connect you to your health professionals. Send and receive secure messages about your health.

The Messages screen gives you access to all your secure messages with your linked health professionals.
Messages may be sent to you by the health professionals you are linked with.
You can access the Messages screen from almost everywhere in the app, by pressing the Messages icon in the Tab bar.
Here's how you interact with your messages...
Message List screen
Unread badge
This badge shows the number of unread messages you have for each sender.
Search field
You can search your message list by sender name.
View message
Pressing anywhere on a particular sender's message will take you to the Message Sender screen for that sender.
Message Date
For each sender, their most recent message to you is shown. The message date is the date of this most recent message.
Do no reply
When you see this icon against the sender's image, you have not been given permission to send messages to that sender. Contact the sender to request permission.
If the icon is not visible, you may send messages to that sender.

Message Sender screen
Web link
Messages can contain links to webpages. Simply click on the link to be taken to the webpage.
Document link
Messages may also contain links to documents that have been shared with you. These documents must first be added to your account (e.g. a doctor may add the document), before they can be linked in the message. Clicking on the document link will bring up the document from the secure datastore. See the Documents screen for more information.
Questionnaire/Assessment link
From time to time you may be asked to complete a questionnaire or self assessment. By clicking on the link you are taken to the questionnaire or assessment inside the app, allowing you to quickly complete it.
Message text input
If the sender has nominated that you can reply to their messages, the message text input field will display, allowing you to send messages.
Take photo button
Alongside the text input field, you will also see a photo button to allow you to attach images to your messages.
